We just received our monthly statement from our mission organization . It was shocking we have been hovering at between 45 - 50% over the last 3 or so months. We are now........ drum roll please........ at 54% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have passed the half way mark on our support. That is a blessing to us in so many ways. We at times over the last few months feel very discouraged that we aren't ready to leave for Congo yet. However the last 2 weeks have been filled with encouragement. Last week I got a call from Mrs. H she just wanted to check on us and to let us know she and her prayer group at her church are still praying for us. That same day Mt. Hope church in VA, sent us some pictures form some of the kids as well as some personal notes letting us know of their continued prayers and support. That same day I received emails from all over the world from missionary friends in the field updating us on their lives and letting us know they are praying! That many encouragements in one day was amazing. It was nice to hear that people still remember we are trying to follow God's path in our lives.
This week we have received many phone calls from dear friends and have spent much time in the bible encouraging others as well as getting encouragement. Now we have our financial update. It is just what we needed to feel like we are moving and not in limbo.
So again thank you for all your prayers and support. If you have any prayer requests please remember to let us know, we love to pray for those that do so for us. We want to be a part of your lives as we are in a small part of yours.
