Labor Day weekend and Fun To come!!

Well this Labor Day weekend was lots of fun. Art and I spent Friday doing or normal playing settlers with Brenda. Saturday we worked at my moms till around 4 then headed home. We relaxed for a little bit then took a long bike ride. It was beautiful out!!! I really am enjoying the new bike.

Sunday we had church then a dinner at the Whaley's then had a gig at Wadsworth grill. Art was nice enough to fill in for his old bands drummer. While he hasn't played in a long time we both talked about it and really dislike being out in a bar now. We don't drink or party but played in bars for years in different bands, but we now feel just out of place there. Not a bad thing I know, but weird to feel out of place where you were once comfortable. Everyday is a growing experience for us. We are learning to rely on the Lord for our comfort and strength in everything. We no longer feel part of where we are now, yet not a part of where we are heading either. The Lord is the only constant in our lives, while I know our friends hope to keep us here as long as they can and they make us feel part of their lives, we still feel lost most days.

Cast your burden on the Lord, and he shall sustain you. Psalm 55:22

This verse is my daily reminder that my burdens should be on his shoulders not my own.

Oh here is a pic of the new bike!! We are going to get rid of the graphics on the tank it says Big Dog and has a Dale Ernhardt "3" on it. EWWW stupid!!!!! But nice bike other than that.
